Winter Fun :)

I grew up in London, so when I woke up on Monday and saw snow, I completely freaked. Where I live now (a big town in the south of England) it never snows, because it is right on the coast. So, you can understand my excitement when it snowed and I regressed back to being eight years old again.
I had the best day, I built snowmen, had snowball fights and made snow angels with my friends. We all had the day off and were sooo pleased! But we were so annoyed when we finally went back to school and they decided to give us a mountain of work to catch up on. It's bad enough when you're ill and they make you catch up, but when it's been snowing? That's just plain cruel. :(

I saw Twilight last month, and, however sad it seems, I have ended up seeing it three times. That's not the worst though, as my friend says her cousin went seven times. That's over fourty pounds worth of cinema tickets! Think of the things you could buy from Topshop with that......not much tbh, but still. I absolutely loved Twilight, I had read the books, I mean everyone has read the books, at our school anyway. They are soo much better than Harry Potter, which for some stupid reason, everyone compares them to. I actually don't see a single similarity.

I found some really cool stuff to buy on artbox and on lazy oaf. I also found this really cool site called MoreTVicar, with really cute T-shirts. They do adorable ones for little kids, that made me giggle.

I hope evryone has fun in the snow :)

I have homework to do, that I should be doing :)

The Soon-to-be-Annual Hot List!

Well. This wan't my idea.

I might as well tell you how it started though. Rainbowmango, Rainbowmelon and I were all sitting in German. We were tired, and bored. This was when Rainbowmango pipes up with the idea of listing, in our opinion, the ten people we'd like to be stuck in a lift with. Ok then, the ten guys we'd like to be stuck in a lift with. This is what we came up with. Let us know if you think we should replace someone.

1. Mitch Hewer (Britannia High, Skins)
2. Zac Efron (HSM1, 2 and 3, Hairspray etc.)
3. Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl)
4. Robert Pattinson (Twilight)
5. Liam (one of the final 24 on Xfactor, yes we're sad)
6. Chris Brown
7. Aaron Johnson (Angus, Thongs...)
8. Matthew Thomas (Brtannia High)
9. Austin Drage (XFactor)
10. Dan form Gossip Girl (no idea who plays him, but he has to be on the list!)

We also came up with a what's hot and what's not list. (Hour long lessons)

Hot...
- Britannia High
- X Factor
- Chicago Town Mini Pizzas
- HSM3
- Cheesy Nachos at the David Lloyd (our local sports centre)
- The Blimp we saw out of the window in German :)
- Sales at the Shops!
- Mitch Hewer (again!)
- Chocolate
- Oreos

And then theres not...
- Bed hair
- Being broke
- School
- Austin voted out on X Factor
- Daniel staying in on X Factor :(
- November Exams
- Revision
- Being tired all the time cause we have to wake up at 6.30am.
- The constant rain.

My Shakespearian Sonnets

For my english assignment, I had to write a sonnet. I chose to do shakepearian theme, and this is what I came up with....

BTW, no copying, this is copyright to me, and it'll get back to me if you use em.

The Credit Crunch

Though it sounds like a harmless breakfast treat,
It is apparently more sinister,
With Panorama’s on Telly, my sweet,
And the crying Parliament minister.
For the economy has crashed, and UK
Media can’t help cheering - for the tale.
Primark and Lidl sales did rise today,
And Gordon Brown drowns his sorrows in Ale.
But just because int’rest rates are rising
And Britain’s banks have been nationalised
Do not forget that the world’s surprising
And soon we’ll all be quite rationalised
For after all we’re British, we’ll recall,
In a few years over tea, the market falls.

My September

In my september...

Pan's Labyrinth has officially become my favourite film ever. It's completely in Spanish, but I love the film and the soundtrack. It is the sweetest film I have ever watched and I cried at the end!

I have been ill at least twice, and am ill right now. I blame getting up at 6:30 every morning - playing havoc with my immune system.

I have been addicted to Perez Hilton's blog, and Moshi Monsters.

I have had to write an insane amount of essays already - we've only been back 4 or 5 weeks.

and I am really, really cold when we are forced to do P.E. in the torrential rain. Outside.

10...9...8...

OMG.

Big bang day. Even the title scared me. And everyone else I talked to that day. And it made little children cry.

But we survived. Even after the countdown my class and I did.

I learnt this: if you're already panicking - don't do a countdown - it makes you hysterical.

I was genuinely freaked out that day though. I honestly can't say if I genuinely thought we were all going to go bang on big bang day. I was pretty scared anyway though, even though my mum told me to stop being so stupid.

Specially as my friend, who heard from her friend, that the guy who was going to press the big red button liked blowing things up.

Looking back there was a load of rumours going round, and, I have to admit they were fun to spread.

Oh well. Something to tell the grandkids, I guess.

We survived!

...Or did we?

Guess who's back...?

I'm back!

I have had my summer break :) and am really chilled out. I just wish that I didn't have to go back to school... *sob*.

Just the thought of school totally depresses me.

But I get to see all of my friends again, and have a major catch up with them. They all live really far away, so it's hard for me to see some of them. 'Course MSN helps though!

And in all the time I've been away, I seem to have got myself a volunteer job. I love it though, so I really don't mind that I don't get paid. But don't get me wrong it would be really nice to get paid.

I have to go now. But, brownies honour promise, I will update soon.

I was never a brownie. I lied all the time.

LOVE!

Hang my head in shame...

I've been a bad blogger *sob*.

I haven't updated since June - basically because I kept forgetting.

But now it's the the summer holidays, and I have a post-it stuck to my computer screen - so I can't forget. I think...

Since I've been away I have been to Thorpe Park. :) Best theme park ever - if you don't go on Stealth you are officially chicken! It goes straight up 205 feet and goes 0-80 mph in two seconds. And it has a really scary sign on the back of the seats saying if you get stuck please wait for assistance patiently. That sign scared me more than the ride.

Also if you go you have to go on Nemisis Inferno. Not scary - just fun! Your feet dangle and I was really scared my flip flops would come off. Colossus was closed though. I had gone on it the year before and was gutted I couldn't again. Never mind. :S

But the best ride of all was Tidal Wave. You get actually drenched. No joke - we had to pay to use a drier.

But basically I had loads of fun with all my friends, and if you have the oppurtunity to go anywhere with your friends, make sure you have loads of fun!

I'm off to have my summer now - if anything good happens - I promise you'll be the first to know!

Missing you already
